Tarnetar, Surendranagar

Tarnetar is a place where the famous an international fair organised. There is one temple of lord Mahadev located. Which is known as Trinetreshvar Mahadev. There is one water area like pond. 

This temple located in the Thangadh city of Surendranagar district, Gujrat, India, 

According to history, It is a same place where had been held the marriage ceremony of Draupadi in Mahabharat. Arjun win her by pointing arrow in the eye of fish from its reflection in water which hang on the top of water. 

The international fair held in hindu Bhadrva month. Where foreign visitors to visit it. This fair is continuously open for 3-4 days. Which most famous for traditional worked umbrella. The folk dance of  the local dancer much famous in the world. This group also perform their dance in foreign country also. There is many rides, stores for food, shopping etc available. It is a very nice historical place.

Charminar, Hydrabad

Charminar is a most famous historical place of India. It is a mosque. Which is constructed in 1591, by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah. He moved his capital from Golkonda to Hydrabad, after that he had started this construction. Which is located in Hydrabad city of Telangana state, India. Charminar is constructed in the center of the city, on the bank of Musi river, to honor the abolition of plague. The meaning of minar is tower. There is watch in the minar. Charminar is a well known place, so that many numbers of visitors come to visit, also from foreign countries. Which is a best example of the architecture.  

Dumas beach, Surat

This is a more famous beach of Surat district, Gujarat state, India. Which is most popular tourist place of nearest area. This beach located in south Gujarat. Tourist can enjoyed a lot at this water place. At the time of Sunset, the scene of this beach is more beautiful. So that more crowd arrived at this time. They enjoyed with sea water, clicking photos with sunset. Nearest people enjoyed a lot with friends, family, etc. The gujarati snacks also available there, so that visitors enjoyed a lot on the beach. The cold wind waving from the water and the sand of beach is much shining in sun light.  This beach is famous as hunted beach in India.

   

Valley of flowers, Uttrakhand

Uttrakhand located in the bottom of Himalayas. This part of India is much beautiful, many numbers of natural places available here, This area is mostly covered with mountains and valleys. Among this places Valley of flowers is much famous place. This valley has many types of flowers. Due to this colorful flowers this valley looks much beautiful, which is a main attraction for visitors. 

In 1982, this valley was declared as National Park. Which is located in west Himalaya, Uttrakhand state, India. Many numbers of  Foreign visitors also come to visit this valley. It is a very fabulous experience to visit this valley. Due to sunlight all the colorful flowers shine much, this is a best scene, through which we can know the art of Nature. 

Nishkalank Mahadev, Bhavnagar

This temple is  in the sea, at Koliyak, district Bhavnagar, Gujarat state, India. Which is established by the Pandvas. They established this phallus on the no moon day of hindu Bhadarava month. So that on every no moon of bhadrava month there is a big fair organised. 

In the battle of Mahabharat, Kaurava's died by Pandvas. So that Pandvas felt guilty for this blot. Durvasa Muni gave solution to remove this blot. He gave black flag and said that where this flag converted in white, understood their blot removed. Pandvas had been come on this place nearest to Bhavnagar and their flag became white from black. They took bath in sea and worshiped lord Mahadev. According to order of Mahadev they made phallus from sand and gave it name-" Nishkalank Mahadev". 

This place is in the sea so that devotees have to come back before the time of  tide. In this way, it is not possible to reach the temple at any time. Devotees have to plan for visit very carefully otherwise their visit became fruitless or they have to wait for ebb. 

Pakibavli, Bihar

This is a very mysterious story of increasing size of the Shaligram stone. Its size is increased continuously from around 200 years. Before 200 years ago, it had been gifted by the king of Nepal- Jang Bahadur. From that time it is founded in the Pakibavli city of Bihar state, India. The size of stone is same as the pea at the time of foundation. Today it becomes double from the size of coconut. Many scientists tried to find the reason, but they failed.

This temple is on the bank of the step well. In hindu religion Shaligram is the form of lord Vishnu. It is a rarely found stone. Mostly this stones find on the river bank of kali gandki in Nepal. Mostly in brown, blue and white colors they found. Many numbers of devotees come for worship every day.

Lavasa, Pune

Lavasa city is a first private hill station of India. Which is situated in Pune district of Maharashtra state, India. This city was constructed by Ajit Gulabchand's company HCC, who is the chairman of Hindustan Construction. Which is made as the one city of Europe. This city is made in the area of around 15 mountains and valley. According to area, this city is as large as Paris. There is a man-made pond which is constructed using  90 waterfalls approximately.

There is arrangement of Train to visit whole the city. Which is run on road. There is around 101 fun activity available for example, Rock climbing, Jet skying, boating, water games, etc. Also arranged camps for Meditation and Yoga.

Around 2,00,000 people can stay in this city. 5 star hotel, Schools, Post office, etc facilities are provided in this city.

Tuti Jharna Shiv Mandir

This is a much oldest temple in the Ramgadh city of Zarkhand state, India. Around 300 years old. Which is much famous in this area.The story of  foundation of this temple is as ,During some work of digging this idol of lord Mahadev- Shivling found. Also there is hand pumps from which automatically water comes. There is one idol of goddess Ganga from which water comes out continuously 24 hours and falling on Shivling. Some time snake comes and sit on the idol or the idol of  Ganga ma. Devotees come from very far area for worship. 

Elephanta Caves

This is a most famous place for tourist. Which is located nearest to Mumbai, at Gharapuri, Maharashtra state, India. This caves are best example of art where all the idols made from rocks cut. Around 5th century this caves are made. Before 16th century this known as "Dharpuri". Portuguese found one idol of elephant so that they gave name "Caves of Elephanta".  

There is a big round shaped Shiv temple. Many numbers of Lord Shiva's idol are carved in different different styles like holding Gangaji in his hair, killing the Andhak, with goddess Parvati, etc. The main famous temple is the idol of  "Trimurti"- Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. The pillars of the caves are much decorated using carving. The idol of  Natraj- the lord of dance also much famous.

Asirgadh Fort, Burhanpur

This fort is architect as mixture of Islamic, Turkish, Indian and Persian style. In this fort there is temple of Gupteshvar Mahadev. Localized people says that Ashwathama- a character of  Mahabharat, comes daily for worship in this temple. There is one pond in this fort, which is not dried even in summer. Ashwathama takes bath in this pond and then go for worship. Around this fort there is valley in each and every side. In this valley one hidden route from Khandavvan forest- Khandva district to this fort. Ashwathama comes through this route for worship. There is also one Masjid in this fort which is known as "Asir Masjid". This fort is a sign of unity in  Hindu and Muaslim religion. Asirgadh fort is situated 20 km from Burhanpur city of Madhypradesh state, India.

Masroor Temple

This is a temple of lord Shiva. Approximately more than 2000 years old temple, which is located in Kangra velly nearest to Kangra city of Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh state, India. This temple was made from rocks cut. There is a group of 19 individual temples, but due to earthquake and any other reasons some are destroyed. One temple is in middle and others are in same way around it. From which 16 temples have been made from cutting big rock and 2 temples made individually its gate and exterior part decorated much. According to history, this temple was made by Pandvas during their agnatvas. The ceiling of this temple is decorated using carve. The idol of many goddess , lord Shiva, Indra, Kartikey etc carved on the wall. This temple is situated on mountain and reflected in the water. This a very attractive scene. 

Desert of Kutch

Kutch is a part of Gujarat state, India. In Kutch there is a white desert. In which every year during December to March there is one festival organised. Same way in december 2016 also organised. This festival is much famous, Foreigners also come to visit this festival. Main attractions of this festival are camel rides, chocolate rooms, arrangements for living in tents house, Kuba, shopping of their traditional worked dresses, jewelry, mirror work and handicraft show pieces etc. This is a big chance to live in desert and enjoyed night there in shining of moon. Mostly the house in Kutch are known as "Bhunga", which is made from mixture of clay. This house gives cooling as like as air-conditioner.  The decoration of this festival much beautiful, no one can imagine this is a desert which decorated till this fantastic way.

Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple, Malaysia

It is a major hindu glass temple in Malaysia. Which is located in Tabrau city of district Johor Bahru, Johor satte, Malaysia. It is a very old temple. Which is built in 1922. All the walls of temple is built with peices of glass of red, green, yellow, blue, white, purple. Which is reflected on doors, pilars, and made shining in whole temple. This is a first glass temple in Malaysia so that mentioned in Book of records. Also there is  Rudrakh embedded in walls. There is a big hall for functions and also some times arrangement of food on special occasion. So many visitors come to see the glass temple and it is a main attraction for them. 

 

Sahastrling, Sirsi

Sahastrling is a very old place in Sirsi Taluka, Karnataka state, India. There is a Shalmala name river flown. There are thousand of Shivlingas on the route of this river, so that this place is known as Sahastrling. Also there is Nandi, Snack, etc related with lord Mahadev is made on this route of river. 

In 16 century, there was a kingdom of Sadashivray who is big devotee of Mahadev. To continue worship of Mahadev he made these pictures in Shalmala river. Due to Shivlings situated on the path of  river, the river Shalmala is continuous sprinkling water on these thousand shivlings. 

To this awesome place, devotees come in huge rush, Mostly on the festival of Shivratri and Monday of  Sharavan hindu month many numbers of devotee comes here. 

Amarnath Dham, Gandhinagar

This is a artificial Amarnath dham same as real Amarnath. This place situated near Amrapur village . The path to reach this place is from Gandhinagar - Mahudi road, Gram bharti cross road, Amrapur. From the Main entrance gate devotees have to walk 3 km to reach temple. Whole the construction of the temple and the path to reach this temple has been made same as the real Amranath temple. The path is full with small shops of toys, snacks, cold drinks, etc. The some part of this path is like we are walking in valley with slope, after that walk on hills then some steps.

The idol of the Mahadev also made artificially using some chemicals but same as made from ice. Behind this temple, 12 shrines in caves made artificially, each with description of one Jyotirling form the hindu religion's 12 Jyotirling. Also there is some rides available for tourist, big garden with grass to seat and canting also.

This is very nice place for those people who want to visit real Amarnath but can't and also for school visit. Students can enjoy a lot.

Vaghesvari Mataji, wadhwancity

This is a very old temple, known as a "Vaghesvari Temple". Wadhwan is a taluka of Surendranagar district, Gujarat, India. This is a very famous temple. The idol of vaghesvari mataji found by a farmer during he was worked in his farm before around 200 years ago. The farm was behind the Ganpati fatsar temple. Which is very big idol and the expression of the idol much terrible. Vaghesvari mataji is a kuldevi of  goldmith society. The rush of devotees increasing on Sunday and the day of Full moon. During the festival of Navratri the atmosphere of temple is much wonderful. The devotees play garaba and enjoyed a lot in this nine days festival. Many cultural activities done by the peoples in this temple, Many other shrine also situated there - Gaytri mandir, Khemshankar mahadev, Annpurna mataji, Randal mataji, Kalbhairav, Guru dattatrey, Shitla mata, etc. Every year the foundation day of this temple enjoyed with organization of special worship in this temple.

Mandavrayji Temple, Muli

This temple is situated in Muli- the taluka of Surendranagar district, Gujarat, India. Muli is a very old village from the time of monarchy. This village is situated on the highway from Surendranagar to Rajkot. The lord Sun - Mandavrayji dada is present in this temple.  The idol of Lord Mandavrayji with 7 horses is established in this temple. This is a very big temple with large ground. Mostly on Sunday the rush of devotees increases. This temple is established before many years, the lord Mandavrayji is a kuldev of Parmar family. Till today, the devotees have faith on almighty Mandavrayji for completing their wish. There is also big Swaminarayn temple is also in Muli. 

Dholi Dhaja Dam, Surendranagar

This is a dam of Surendranagarcity, Gujarat state, India. Which situated on highway of Surendranagar to Rajkot. Which is a dam without gates. When the dam overflowed then whistle rang by the government to inform the people. Before some years there is constructed big canals to divert the flow of narmada holy river towards this dam. So that the  problem of water for people was solved. Before that many problems regarding water were faced by people. After monsoon, when the dam overflowed, there is a fantastic atmosphere. During this time, on weekends people come and enjoyed the much. There is a temple of lord Shiva in the dam. Due to overflowed the dam, people have to go through water, which is a favorite moment for people to walk in water. Before many years the original temple hide, when the new temple constructed. This is a one of the place for Surendranagar people to visit on holidays. On the festival of Mahashivratri, devotees come in large crowd and to reach this temple there was a long queues.

Crystal Temple, Surendranagar

This is a temple of Mahadev. The phallus is made from rock-crystal. The temple is situated on the Amhedabad-Surendranagar highway. Which is nearest to Kothariya village, Surendranagar district, Gujarat, India. The atmosphere of this place is much calm and cold. two saints are living there. In every hindu Shravan month- the month of Mahadev Shankar, the saint is doing fast and not sit till the end of this month. He passed the whole night with the help of swing, hang on tree. On every Monday of this month , at 12 AM mahaarti organised. On the festival of Mahashivratri also the Mahaarti organised and the special Bhang as a prasad is given to the all devotees. This is a very famous temple and people can easily visit of crystal temple. 

Kaneti Hanumanji Temple, Wadhwan

This is a very old place from monarchy. Which is a place situated out of town nearest to railway station of wadhwancity taluka of Surendranagar district, Gujarat, India. This temple is on the road of Wadhwan to Vadod village. During monarchy there was a 4 temple of hanumanji maharaj in 4 directions. This is on of these 4 temples. During hindu kartik month after, diwali and hindu new year the rush of devotees increase every year. On every Saturday of this month there is a small fair organised. The people come to take lunch here. They are taking their food by cooking from home and has taken it in the ground of this temple. There is a big ground with trees, people come here and stay whole days. Also there is small rides for children available. Many farms are there around this temple. One oldage home also made by trust nearest to this temple. There is a big idol of Hanumanji situated there. Also Mahadev, Radha-Krishn, Ram-Sita-Laxman's idols also in this temple.

Madhavav, Wadhawancity

It is a historical place of Wadhawancity. Whih is a taluka of Surendranagar district, Gujarat, India. This is a very old place from monarchy. This is a large steps well. The history related this place is much interesting. During summer there was a shortage of water raised and due to much heat dried all the water places. Then the king became much worried about that situation. Then asked about the solution of that situation to the astrologer. He told that if one newly married couple scarified there life in the water of this step well then the water increases. Then the king passed notice to find newly married couple from the city but no one couple ready to sacrifice. Then the king suddenly remembered his prince just married before 5 days and requested that couple for scarified for villagers. The Prince and his queen was ready and wore the marriage dress and started to walk on the steps of this step well. As well as they went down towards the water then the level of water increased.     

Shetrunjaya Hills, Palitana

This is a religious place of  Jainism. Which is situated in Palitana village of Bhavnagar district, Gujarat state, India. This is a very holy place of jain religion so that all the devotees earnest to visit this place once in life. This city is also known as "City of temples". There are around 5000 steps to reach at top. The main temple is situated on top of the hill. According to history of Jain society, their first thirthankar Rishabh dev delivered his first sermon on this hill and sacred it. Many more saints attained their moksha here. There are about 108 shrines situated on this hill. Many annual fairs organised per year. 6 kos circumambulation of this holy hill done by devotees every year. This is a very old and historical place of Jain society.

 

 

Virvachhraj Island, Zinzuvada.

This place is situated in small desert of kutch, Gujarat state, India. From Zinzuvada village of Gujarat one big old entrance gate is available to enter in the small desert. In desert, all sides we can see only white sands, no one tree or road to reach this remote place. This is a holy place of Rajput-Solanki ethnic group. In monsoon we can't go there due to sandy road through desert. Due to rain this place covered with water from all sides. So that it is known as Island in desert. 

The history of this place is related to this Rajput society. Vir Vachhrajsinh was going to marry, that time he knew about lost pet cow, whose name was Vegad. He ran to find it. For finding that cow, he came to this desert place and found some robbers caught cows and ran away. To protect this unspoken animals, he fought with robbers. In that fight, his head was separated from body and only body fought with robbers. In this way he survive from that martyrdom and protect cows. So that he has worshiped as "Vachhada dada" by the people form that time. 

In whole desert, only this place with trees available and one bore-well is also available for thirsty people. Till today, the truck of grains and food are provided by the devotees. Each and every day arrangement of lunch - dinner is provided by association. In this desert, big cow court is also made by devotees.

KshemShankar Mahadev, Wadhwancity

Wadhwancity is a very mythological city. Though many ancient places are there, This Kshemshankar Mahadev temple is one of this. Wadhawancity is taluka place of Surendranagar district, Gujarat, India. In this temple self-existent phallus situated there. The history of this temple is much interesting. 

Many years ago, one man of this city had habituated to worship of  Lord Shiva  each and every day. After worship he had taken a piece of grain. The temple of lord Shiva, which was worshiped by this man was situated far from town. In monsoon, continuous 12 days he could not go for worship and due to this he had to suffer from fast. Lord Shiva delighted on this man for his devotion and came in dream. Lord Shiva ordered him to dig on bhogavo riverbank where red cow sat. The devotee follow this order and found this phallus. 

From those days, after so many years still this phallus worshiped by devotees. The temple is known by the name "Vagheshvari Mandir". In this temple many shrines are situated. During hindu Shravan month on every Monday 12 AM big worship organised and whole the temple decorated. The silver Mahadev shaped mask set on the phallus and this look of idol like a Mahadev Shiva present himself. The atmosphere of this temple very amazing during this programs.

Kuber Bhandari, Vadodara

This is a very old place of lord Shiva. Which is situated in Karnali village, Vadodara-District, Gujarat, India. This temple situated on the height from shore of holy river Narmada. Due to this devotees also enjoying swimming and boating. Most numbers of devotees come to visit this place on no moon(amavasya) of every hindu month. On amavasya, rush of devotees starts from 1 AM and whole night crowd made. There is also facilities provided for night halt. Each and every day lunch and dinner also available by the temple. The history of this temple is that, once a while Lord Shiva passed from forest with goddess Parvati. She felt hungry but in this forest area nothing was available. So that Lord Shiva situated there as Kuber Bhandari name- the Lord of water and food. So that all the tourist can take food and water on this remote place. Lord kuber is also known as the god of wealth. This is a very nice place on the riverbank of Narmad in Gujarat.

Rajrajeshvar Dham, Limdi

This is a place on national highway 8, nearest to Jakhan village, Limdi taluka, Surendranagar district, Gujarat, India. It is a very big area and headquater of Life Mission. There is a big temple of  lord Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh together. According to hindu culture it is rarely found. There is a big entrance gate to enter in this area. Then the distance between gate to temple is covered with fountain, grass and tress. There are many benches for sitting in garden. In this Rajrajeshvari dham hospital, prayer hall. spiritual center, higher secondary school for english medium and sanskrit school. vedik study center, book store, yagnshala, snan kund, exhibition hall, gaushala, Residential area for staff, accommodation for visitors, some part of area is separated for saints, the guru Rajeshvri muni come outside only 2 times in a day, rest of time he passes in meditation. Also swings and  slides available for children. In short, it is a very nice place for picnic and tourist people can take short break, visit and then continue their tour.

HFM, Limbdi

HFM-Highway Food Mall, is situated on NH-8, nearest to Limbdi. Limbdi is a taluka place of district Surendranagar, Gujarat. Which is a mall of food. Among the each and every national highway passing through Gujarat, this NH-8 nearest to limbdi come on the first rank. This mall is established by havmor. Some national and intentional food brands are available. Havfun food court, cafe cofee day, subway, domino's pizza, Gwalia sweets, Dayro- Gujarati Dish, Karnavati, South Indian food, Chines, punjabi dish, etc are available. Jariya Mahadev, Chotila

This is a place of lord Mahadev. Which is very oldest place, where water trickle on phallus in every season from the rocks of mountain. Though there is no any river or any place of water. Many scientists and media come to find the reason of continuous water trickling. Which is very inner area like forest not a straight road and filled with trees. Also there is no artificial temple. under the big rocks of mountain the phallus situated and on which water trickling continuously. Hence it is a very nice natural place. This place is 14 km far from chotila. On the route of chotila to thangadh, district Surendranagar. During monsoon, hindu Shravan month rush of devotee was uncountable. Mostly on monday of this month rush increases. Behind this mountain, water area like valley is made by nature. During monsoon this valley filled with water so that this time the atmosphere of this place is much amazing.
