Wadhwan is a taluka of Surendranagar district in Gujarat state, India. Which is very oldest city. During monarchy there is fort around the city. This fort is still present. There are 7 gate in fort and 1 window, in this way there are total 8 gates in fort. After 8 pm this 7 gates are closed and only 1 window is opened. This 7 gates of streets are made from rocks and fully covered with engrave. Name of these gates are: Dholi pol, Khandi pol, Lakhu pol, Kharva ni pol, Shiyani ni pol. From this name of some street is from nearest village because from this nearest village place, villagers are come for shopping. For example, Shiyani pol is a name from nearest village Shiyani- Limbdi Taluka, from shiyani villagers are coming fom shopping. In this way this gates of street very famous and part of history.
